You can also become irritable and moody if your body is in constant thirst for food.

This does not mean that all diets rapid weight loss is bad. Be careful to choose one that does not promise results very quickly. It should also be reasonably well balanced. For example, you could probably do to reduce the amount of carbohydrates you eat, but you should never try to completely eliminate from your diet. Similarly, should increase the amount of protein you eat, but make sure you eat fruits and vegetables and more. You can safely reduce the amount of fat and sugars you eat, reducing to almost zero, because their other foods contain small amounts of them anyway.

Ultimately, you could certainly make a strict diet, but only managed to get the nutrition they need to keep your body functioning properly. Use them to some extent, to start or to look great for a particular event, and then focus on healthy eating and exercise itself. You can not stop losing weight if you do that.

I am a 19 year old college student, and on October 24th, 2007 I decided to turn my life around. I was obese, depressed, and was lacking in self confidence. Now, as of February 17th, 2008 I am over 50 pounds lighter; having dropped 6 pant sizes, and two shirt sizes- I will do whatever it takes to not get back to where i was.
