<p>To get into good shape, it&#8217;s important to improve your diet and to exercise.  To improve your performance, tone your physique, get six pack abs or lose belly fat, find an exercise routine that works for you.  Swimming, running, aerobics, bodybuilding, weight lifting, yoga, dance, sports, mixed martial arts and even just running on a treadmill are all great options.  </p>

could stay on for more than a few weeks without feeling miserable and<br />
deprived. Whatever happened to just enjoying good food, in moderation,<br />
without guilt? If we buy into the common-sense wisdom found in books<br />
like the bestseller French Women Donât Get Fat by Mireille Guiliano, itâs<br />
clear that the way to be thin and still have some joie with our meals<br />
is to adopt a more traditional, and worldly, way of dining. Moderate<br />
portions, fresh whole foods, relaxing and lingering with family and<br />
friends at the table â itâs what they do not just in France, but throughout<br />
the Mediterranean, Latin America and Asia. These are places where<br />
obesity rates have historically been low , at least until the global<br />
spread of fast food and sedentary lifestyles boosted obesity<br />
everywhere, . Itâs where the âgym workoutâ was a bicycle ride to work or<br />
school, or where eating a low-fat diet meant Mom stretching the meat by<br />
stuffing cabbage or grape leaves. This reminds us that it is possible<br />
to eat what you love without feeling guilty, deprived or going on any<br />
restrictive regimen. Hereâs how. 1. Start with soup. This Japanese<br />
tradition is one of the best weight-loss strategies. Thatâs because<br />
eating soup, particularly the broth-based vegetable kind, before your<br />
entrÃ©e fills you up so you eat less during the meal, explains Barbara<br />
Rolls, Guthrie professor of nutrition at Penn State University in<br />
University Park, and author of The Volumetrics Eating Plan. A two-year<br />
French study of 2,188 men and 2,849 women found that those who ate soup<br />
five to six times a week were more likely to have BMIs below 23 ,<br />
considered lean, , compared with infrequent- or non-eaters whose BMIs<br />
tended to be in the 27 range. 2. Make lunch your main meal. Although<br />
they do this throughout Europe, a good explanation for eating your big<br />
meal at midday comes from ayurveda, Indiaâs 5,000-year-old approach to<br />
wellness. âAccording to ayurveda, weâre actually designed to eat the larger<br />
meal at lunch because our digestive âfire,â called agni, is strongest<br />
between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., so we digest more efficiently,â explains<br />
Jennifer Workman, a Boulder, Colorado-based ayurveda specialist,<br />
registered dietitian and author of Stop Your Cravings. âIâve seen people in<br />
my practice lose 5 to 10 pounds just by doing this.â 3. Think quality,<br />
not quantity. The French snub processed âdiet foodsâ not found in nature,<br />
opting instead for high-quality meats, fish, produce, dairy, even<br />
desserts. When food is fresh and flavorful, you can be satisfied with<br />
smaller portions. This is the opposite of the American approach, which<br />
is to fill up on bland diet foods, then gorge on sweets later. âThe<br />
French set the standard for small portions with their haute cuisine,â<br />
says David Katz, MD, author of The Way to Eat. âIf we consider that part<br />
of eating is to induce pleasure, if you can get there with quality of<br />

If you&#8217;re a busy person and don&#8217;t have much time to cook, here&#8217;s a nice meal that does not take much effort.  Having a George Foreman grill is really handy, but you don&#8217;t need one.  This is a typical dinner for me.  Enjoy.</p>

<p>This is a video describing 3 simple tips for losing weight in a healthy and easy (simple) way. Don&#8217;t need to spend extra money or get crazy! Of course this isn&#8217;t everything but these are the one&#8217;s I feel any one can do immediately. </p>

#1- Drink Water. As much as you can all day!<br />
#2- Eat Protein. Eat more meat, legumes (beans), or any type of healthy protein (seafood, shakes, eggs).<br />
#3- NO CARBS. This is the hardest but if you can, don&#8217;t eat things like bread, rice, potatoes, and white foods. </p>
<p>*Remember, this is a temporary life style. I personally follow this most of the time but let loose during weekends cuz I have to have my rice! </p>
<p>I learned much of what I talk about in terms of health from a life time of obsession but give ton&#8217;s of credit to the author and book below. </p>
